Myisha Jackson is an exceptional Licensed Professional Counselor with a profound commitment to serving the Black community. As the Founder and CEO of Healing Journey Counseling Center, she stands out as a leading advocate for Black mental health and community empowerment.

A proud graduate of the University of Louisiana Monroe, Myisha holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice and a Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Her academic journey, rooted in both criminal justice and mental health counseling, uniquely positions her to provide invaluable support, behavioral health and substance abuse services, and mentorship opportunities for youth and adults in underprivileged communities.

Myisha's impactful work has garnered recognition, with features in prestigious publications such as Forbes, Essence, Health, SELF, Bustle, US News, and various podcasts. Her mission goes beyond the headlines, as she actively works to reduce the stigma surrounding therapy and advocates for the importance of counseling within the Black community.
